Before you apply. Use this checklist to prepare your employment history. Your entries are not saved or sent to us. Enter your information, including an optional SIN, in the Scarlett application on the next step.

Your employment history

Provide at least 36 completed calendar months of work history. Add previous employers if your current role does not cover three years. Overlapping jobs count only once; periods without work do not count as employment.

I recently completed post-secondary education and now work in my field of study.

What you will provide in Scarlett

Personal and contact information, address history and co-applicant details.
Employment, income, assets, debts and the property or mortgage request.
Your SIN, if you choose to provide it, within the Scarlett application where enabled.

Providing a SIN for a mortgage credit check is optional and is not a condition of service. Any credit authorization and privacy consent must be reviewed and provided separately in the application portal. Do not email SINs or financial documents.
